An ad I did with Brian Finucane for Epsilon Dublin. Data and Creativity. See the colour break-up? It's called chromatography and it's not just a cool exploding spectrum, it's a gold standard process in molecular analysis. It's particularly important in pharmaceuticals. We wouldn't have safe medicine without it.
Basically, a complex substance can be analysed by observing and measuring what its different types of molecules are attracted to. Which is similar to how data science works, in that markets can be analysed by observing which sites people visit, what they buy, what they observe, what they spend. Not sure why I used a kingfisher for this insertion. Something about the combination of patience and precision to extract useful stuff from dark waters appealed to the idea of what a creative role is. Plus he's pretty handsome.
